First up was Mark knott who was playing Steve Taylor at five. This was Steve’s first game for the team and he was very nerves making a few mistakes, Mark took full advantage of this winning all three games quite comfortably.

Next up was Gary Storey he was playing Alan Morgan at two Gary played well moving round the court quick and getting to every ball but Alan did not lie down and put up a good fight unfortunately this didn’t help and he was beaten again 3 -0.

The next to play was Joe Race he was playing Brian Sanderson again Joe was very nervous as he was playing at one. Joe won all three games but the second game was really tough Joe winning 15-14 but overall a great result and good games to watch.

The next game saw Dan Cusack playing Simon fuller. The first two games were hard but Dan won comfortably again the third game was Dan’s for the taking as Simons head was down by this point, another win for Cramlington

The final game was Andy Lawrence he was playing Rob Cresswell at three won the first two games 15-12 then 15-09 but then Rob came back to steel Alnwicks only point of the night with a hard fought third game winning 15-10 the pressure was on now for Andy as he didn’t want to be the only player who lost fortunately he won the next game 15-14 but only just Andy looked finished by the end of the fourth game and pleased it was all over.

Well done to all the lads some good games played.

Squash is one of my favorite sport because of Ramy Ashour. He is one agile player who really is passionate for what he loves in squash. It is great to see that you guys can still find time and express your passion in a form of sports. It is given that in everything that we do, there is always a person who will be better than us but that won't stop us from getting ourselves in the best form that we can be. Keep on improving and don't forget to enjoy!
